Food + Hormones Online Workshop

I turned 50 in December, and it’s been such an interesting and confounding hormonal ride these last few years.  I know I’m not alone in that sentiment, as I’ve had countless conversations with family and friends about the state of things during this stage of life. Like many others, I’ve experienced a range of hormone-related symptoms - fatigue, mysterious joint and muscle pain, sleep disturbances, anxiety, changes in self-confidence and mood, and brain fog.

Hormone shifts (perimenopause & menopause) are natural. Navigating this time, though, doesn’t always feel so natural. In fact, it can be incredibly challenging.

As women, we are often taught to power through these disturbances and not complain. We ask questions and seek answers, but we are commonly shut down. Our symptoms are often explained away as stress and fatigue because of a “busy, full” life, and that we should just implement some "self-care."

Imagine being taken seriously and getting the support you crave and deserve. Imagine a toolbox full of useful tools for you to consistently and confidently draw from each day.

These things are possible!

Over the last few years, I’ve read, listened to, and learned from doctors and nurses, exercise physiologists, nutrition scientists, herbalists, and other smart and thoughtful practitioners about women’s hormone health.  And I’m excited to report that I have tools to share with you!

So, let’s get together and connect.

I’m offering a workshop on MAY 19th - hopefully the first of many! - that will focus primarily on what the science says about how food plays a role in hormone health and what you can specifically implement in your diet RIGHT NOW to alleviate your symptoms. We’ll be discussing other lifestyle factors in future workshops (sleep, exercise, nervous system regulation, etc). This first one, though, will be dedicated to understanding and making your food work for you.

Invite your friends and join me for an informal evening of learning, self-inquiry, sharing, connecting, and strategizing. Come if you’re at the start of this journey or if you have been in menopause for years. You’ll walk away with practical tips, a sample daily meal plan, recipes, resources, and more, and be empowered and well-equipped to calm hormone chaos and confidently navigate this time.
